Guidelines
New Student Auditions
Our conductor, Glee Charlestream, would like to have a casual meeting with any new student interested in joining MUSE or Prelude, prior to registration. This opportunity helps us determine how the new student will fit in our group.
Are you reading this mid-school year? No worries! Simply reach out to us, and we can discuss how to proceed!
All students must be able to...
read music, use vibrato, play in tune
take consistent private lessons, seek for help with music from their teacher,
be respectful to peers and teachers, practice consistently at home, and
love playing music with others and have fun!

Our Learning Process
New pieces as well as pieces from our old repertoire will be worked on during weekly rehearsals. Fall session focus on both holiday and non-holiday pieces. We will continue working on non-holiday music in the winter/spring sessions, with additional pieces depending on the members' progress. We will go back to the pieces introduced at the beginning of the school year frequently as we learn new pieces, in order to avoid getting rusty on any of them. We perform most (if not all) pieces we learn from Fall session through out the year.
